BACKGROUND
Mr. Eduardo Villaverde has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of BMW Canada Inc. since September 2011. Mr. Villaverde served as the Head of Spanish subsidiary of BMW Group since January 2008. Mr. Villaverde served as Managing Director for Latin and Central America. Mr. Villaverde joined BMW's Canadian subsidiary from BMW Group Spain, where he served as the president and Chief Executive Officer since August, 2008. He began his career with the BMW Group in ... 1995, when he joined BMW de Latinoamerica S.A. as Chief Financial Officer. In 1999, Mr. Villaverde moved to BMW do Brasil Ltda., where he was responsible for both the BMW and Land Rover brands as president and Chief Executive Officer. He then headed BMW Group Argentina and BMW Group Central and South America respectively before joining BMW Group Spain in 2008. He served as a Director of BMW de Latinoamerica S.A.
