nah, didn't get a chance to look.

Things happened really fast. I did spend 20 min or so driving around the neighborhood to find the car, but couldn't.

It was a male driver, but couldn't catch what ethnicity. This happened like at 12:45am.
The closest the driver got to me was when he made the illegal right hand turn. I didn't even notice it until he was right in front of my car while making the turn.

I believe it had a spoiler.

I'm the worst at catching details lol.

Not taking sides here, but maybe he thought he was just having fun too then....
I'm sure he had no intentions to actually drive his car into you but rather just to make you shit your pants...and it seems like it worked lol.

I get what you're saying and I am all for two drivers having fun on the road, but he actually swerved towards me when my car and his car were pretty much parallel together, in a residential street not a two/three lane road. Why would you risk that just to have fun? Thats not fun, that's stupid. There was just enough space for me to pass and a couple of feet. luckily I was going fast enough to avoid him.

I can understand if my car was still behind his car and he did that while I was starting to over take. I think you have a different picture in mind on how it happened. Not your fault, I guess my original post didn't have enough details in it.

No, I think I have a good idea of what you are talking about. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming he was right beside you when he swerved towards you. He did so just enough that there was only the tiniest space left between your car and his. I've had this done to me before too.

I have my "fun" on the road as well, the same way you had yours on this day but the one thing you have to realize is that, the same way you are looking at this guy and saying that he crossed the line, the average person who isn't a car enthusiast would probably look at you and say that you, too, crossed the line...

My point is, once you cross the line, you can't really point at others and say oh he crossed an even further line...

Does that make sense?

Lol that's funny. Thanks for the heads up. I've noticed the driving patterns have changed a lot in the GTA. Pretty rough.

+1. If you really want to have fun, goto a track. I never goad or have fun with other drivers on the road, unless I know them personally. You will never ever know what the other person's reaction is going to be.

Elite - Once he realized I was going to pass him I was already 2/3 up the length of his car. That's when he decided to turn into me. I had to steer to the left to avoid a collision. He didn't leave the tiniest space between us both. Had I not steered away, Today would be a whole difference story of my life. lol. I know your trying to see the story from the other side of the fence and I respect that. I am that kind of guy too. Instead of pointing fingers first I'd like to take a look at both sides. But in this case, anything you say won't change my view on what happened last night lol.

I guess what he did was purposely "cute me off". Everyone here has been cut off and when we it happens, I guarantee the first thought that doesn't come to our mind is "He's just having fun, let him be" NO! we say "what a idiot driver!"

Yea, i'm not worried about what non car enthusiasts think. Hence why I posted here. 99% of the members here are car enthusiasts and can probably understand and relate to the situation.

Also, I don't think I crossed a line. Only thing you can say I did wrong was over taking him (but who hasn't done that). I wasn't the one who made a illegal right hand turn on a red light (douche bag). What if someone was crossing at the intersection and he hit them? All I know is I didn't try to collide with another vehicle or harm a driver.

He was obviously mad and pissed off because I wouldn't let him catch up to me on Britannia road. Not letting someone catch up to you isn't crossing a line LOL. If people believe that, they need to relax. Getting mad because a car is faster then yours is immature LOL. Or if a car zooms by you, doesn't mean you indulge in unsafe driving that impacts other vehicles on the road.

Not letting someone catch up to you by increasing your speed?...You do realize this is the definition of "racing", right?...............

Today it's funny lol.

Yea people these days on the road get too angry, lack knowledge in cars and think their car is a Ferrari. I dunno what he was trying to prove with his tsx, other then he's an idiot.

Cut your loses and move on to the next one

Depends what your definition of racing is. Was there a start to finish line? No. So in my books it ain't racing lol. To the law, well I wasn't going 50km/h over the speed limit (see here). See people have different views. I told you that I don't care what 35 yr old Debbie, who works at Food Basics, has to think. She will say "your racing sonny boy"

Look, with all respect, stop reading into it too much. We've all done the "you can't catch up to me" routine. We've all done the take off from the red light routine. We all have the devil inside us lol. We "race" to a certain degree. Called spirited driving in my books. It puts a smile on our faces cause we like to drive!

When you start to do stupid things (like he did) to "win" in your mind, you lost.

I don't want this thread to go on for 2-3 weeks. I don't got time lol. I'm going to Dominican next week for my best friends wedding, then I'm starting a new and exciting job (hopefully LOL)

Elite - Not sure if you are a hockey fan, but noticed your from B.C. What does everyone think about the Leafs record and Kessel? LOL. Theres too much hate between our cities. Makes for good hockey entertainment.

I don't think he was drunk. He may have been coming from the gym, Premier. I only say that because there is a shortcut that not everyone takes unless your going towards that area.

Alright cool lol. I guess you would rather have the tsx come to Toronto and make illegal right hand turns from the middle lane and cut people off harshly on the road, because it's so much safer then "stay in one lane" and "stopping at a red light, check for pedestrians before making a right hand turn"

I look before to see if it's safe before I do anything. Now I learned my lesson, can't predict other drivers.

Alright, I'm done with this rant. 2pm and Im hungry

Did you seriously just try to change the subject like that? Wow, honestly, I was just having a normal discussion with you & was passing no judgement but now you just look pathetic...
