Got lucky -- pics

So I got really lucky today.... In January this year I had a little accident when I run into the median .. pictures here.. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=650735
and yesterday I was driving on the highway around 70mph when my car started swerwing all over the road... bunch of warnings came up and today I took it back to the BMW body shop where they were working on replacing my right side wheels and subframe and other stuff and this is what I see!!!

Turns out that the both lost the nut and got loose and was going to fall out... idk if that would make my wheel fall off, but I think it would be nasty at 70mph...

Wow that would've been very bad. You should get yourself a lottery ticket. Do you know how it came lose? I'd be all over the shop about this.

Actually I was all over them!! And what I found out is that the guy that was installing my suspension was working on a couple of cars at the same time and he called my personally an hour ago saying how sorry he is, he said he put the bolt in there and forgot to put the nut on it!!!! can you imagine! he said he got written up and in a lot of trouble! I'm just glad nothing happened. And I'm getting a free service!

Yea, I drove it for 1600 miles!! Untill now, I was on Turnpike going 70mph and on uneven lanes and that's when it happened...
