Incidetally (and going WAY off topic now) I work in Dudley just outside Birmingham and I can see the tower block that's featured on the front cover of IV out of my office window.

Ah, after doing some research I stand corrected:

The tower block on the back cover is of Butterfield Court in Dudley, England (not the now demolished Prince of Wales Court, as is sometimes incorrectly stated). Butterfield Court can be seen, owing to it being 20-stories high and on top of a ridge, 25 miles away in rural Worcestershire and Shropshire and on a clear day, over 45 miles away in Wales.

Still, a photo of it would be VERY cool....

Because most of the "perks" of membership do not exist. At least not for me.

I recently bought my third new BMW and sent in their form for the rebate. No rebate.

I don't get a discount on anything.

There are no "chapters" I can join. The annual events are always 2000 miles away.

The magazine is nice, if you like reading "breaking news" months after it's been posted here, and columns that are 10x more opinionated that any post on this forum.

You can see that I'm not that far away from the position the original photo was taken from. They appear to have done some renovation to the outside though.

Thought I'd make use of it as an avatar for myself too.

I have an E93 manufactured May 1. When received, June 4, it had the built in iPod case. Can't vote on this thread cause whomever set it up must not like E93's !!

BTW - interior color is cream beige but it not make any difference.
