Welcome Miltzu (or I guess that is premature since I'm still just over a week until I take delivery)! I'm in PA also, west of philly, I guess about 50 or 60 miles east of you, we are in no-mans land here between NYC/NJ and DC.

I'm sure you can get some bumper plugs to fill those License plate holes in the mean time, then again why not represent w/ a Finnish plate?

Cool, you're almost a neighbor then I don't know if the holes actually bug me, you can't really see them unless you look really close. But if I get a mod bumper (which I am planning) then I will wait until Finland to add those holes...

Welcome to the BMW world, I just recently got hooked myself.

How is Towson BMW treating you, what was your buying experience like.

How about telling us guys what you like best about the car, Women have different views.

Just to prove I have no life what so ever, I actually already posted a story about my car purchase experience to the dealer review section:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...0&postcount=83

In short: Try being a 20-something year old woman (with pink stripes in your hair which make you look even younger) without a US drivers license, and go buy an expensive car. Not easy! Actually I was a bit surprised that in general the sales people here acknowledged my presence in their showrooms (went into multiple different dealers before buying the car), back in Finland when browsing the show rooms they pretty much left me alone...

That is a tough question! What I like best... I would have to say generally the attitude of the car. The fact that things happen immediately when I hit the gas or the breaks. The whole idea of having a turbo under the hood The looks, I love it in black! I am somewhat satisfied with the sound system, probably will do some changes to it (need more bass on my techno...) but it is not urgent. I like the BT handsfree, very useful. I like the interior lights when it is dark outside, even though orange is not my fav color. And I like the "hand" that gives me the seat belt when I enter the car, gives me a feeling of luxury

And the sunroof is so cool! Spent half of memorial day weekend driving around with both front windows and sunroof open and enjoying the gorgeous sunny weather and teasing the kids (and their parents) of the neighborhood by playing Lars Palmas - Gang Bang Society so loud that it almost hurt my ears. Just have to love the lyrics of that song

So, was that much different from what men like in their cars..?

Did you forget about Avery, I think he fits the role of a pest quite well. His screening of Broduer was great.

I have always been very fast with my moves, so now the car has already had some service on it (after I have owned it for 9 days)! Had to take it Apple BMW here in York PA because it started shaking on Tuesday. Got pretty bad yesterday. So drove it in yesterday, the test drove it and agreed that yep it shakes, and I left it there this morning.

They gave me a ride to office and called me a few hours later that both tires on left side were unbalanced and they had completely replaced them with new run-on-flats. They picked me up from office, I signed two papers and the warranty covered my tires. The car runs like a dream again.

I must say that right now I am pretty happy with the car brand I chose

EDIT: Oh yeah, they had also washed the car pretty thoroughly, which made it feel very nice to pick it up from the service.

I don't know if I want to tell you, you will say that "Oh shit why the hell did you pay so much" Well OK, it was 41.500 + tax (paid cash for it). The original price tag was 46.600. It had 150 miles on it when I bought it, it was sold as a pre-owned but had actually just been standing on the dealers lot since last year.
