Spent the last three days doing both n55 and n54 6mt/6at/7dct testing and actually got a lot of stuff done. Including, for the first time, an autotuning timing bump for those who want more power without having to run more boost. This will be of great benefit for those running meth or racegas.
Will these increase power for non meth users as well?

Glad this issue was fixed.

I have both the Labonte and Snow unit, but bought the Labonte as I thought the Snow FS would not work.
The only difference is the scaling of both units. The Labonte unit is scaled 0-5V (0 ml/min - 2.5 gal/min) and the Snow unit is scaled 0-1.5V (0ml/min - 1500ml/min). When I was testing out the JB4 there were people using it without issue, so I imagined it was no different on the PROcede. I got a meth flow max reading of 21 on a CM10 nozzle @ 220psi with solenoid. I set it at 19 and it works flawlessly. If 1 = .05V, that means I am flowing about 950-1050ml/min.

Time will tell if it will hold up to high concentrations of methanol, but been running it for 3 weeks or so without issue.

No, it won't. Advancing timing on pump gas is counterproductive, especially since it has a hard enough time supporting the stock ignition set point to begin with.

I have the labonte - just got it with a kit. Myst - should I even bother with installing it or should I just order the SNOW SI? I'm not planning on running more than an 80 -85 % ratio. Did your labonte work when / if you ever used less than 100 percent meth?

Congrats on you guys working out a solution for the misfires as well!

I also had the snow but in order to avoid any compatibility issues i got the labonte. If it fails i will put the snow one on.
Just wait and see . If the connection is done gonna be very quick to swap them out.

The snow has one more wire than the Labonte unit, but other than that it was reasonably simple. You need to connect one wire (red) to the battery terminal, and another wire (purple) to the progressive output of your progressive controller OR purple wire to the red wire from the pump if you run a basic kit.

I would say try the new "fixed" maps coming out. The actual issue was something CPS related, so I imagine it should fix this issue as well. We will see I guess.

So as someone who bought a Procede days before v5 came along, where can I grab the v5 firmware with which to update?

Thanks!

you have completely missunderstood his post. He is talking about missfires due to DTC TRACTION CONTROL ENABLED when throttle get closed by it NOT the button NOT working anymore

The procede does not change bmw own traction control. It will work as it works in you car now without it.
