New wheels - Rear Passenger Side Dropped?
I upgraded to 19in wheels from OEM stock 18in today. I purchased the wheels from Modbargin new and just had Pilot Sports installed today. The tech noticed the passenger rear fender was almost touching the tire but driver side was not. On the way home with the old rims and tire equally displaced in the truck, the passenger rear tire rubs the fender.
What would cause such a gap between the left and right rear with a stock suspension? The rear passenger spring looks ok. See pics. new Pilot Sports: 235x35x19 front 265x30x19 rear stock suspension |

What do you mean the springs "look" ok? Without having them verified, you don't know if one is shot.
Otherwise, it could be fuel tank weight or because the battery sits on the one side.

I did a visual inspection of the spring on the car. Could be a spring but i have also read that too much negative camber can effect the rear ride height. I plan to get new alignment but is this typical of people upgrading to 19in. Side to side rear height issues?

Mine is like that too, passenger side can barely fit one finger (have to do it at an angle) and my driver side fits one finger but I'm on coilovers. I always thought it was because I wasn't in the car, less weight. I might be wrong though.

Problem solved. Look closely and you can see Costco put on two different sizes. 265/30/19 on driver rear and 265/35/19 on the passenger rear. Back to Costco which was a slow process to begin with.
