Gp thunders?? help

So im new to this whole bmw and i kinda rushed my buying expirence therefore i got the halogen headlights (lame) i know.......well i saw a older bodystyle 3 series wit one of those hid kits Headlights/foglights looked pretty good.....does anyone know if that will give me an error message? or can i get a different bulb for my fog lights so i can get the hid look? i searched and could not find anything specific so any help would be greatly appriciated...thanks guys

You can purchase bulbs such as the GP thunders w/o any errors. The bulb will give you yellow, white, or blue to your fogs. However, the lighting output of the bulbs will not be as great as an actual HID kit.
