So what do you do when the E9x is in the shop?

Well the 335 is at the dealership for the 10th time for fuel/engine management issues. BMWUSA is involved at this point. Don't want to bore everyone with yet antother N54 issue thread but I thought "hmm what do E90 enthusiasts do when their car is down for a week or two like mine?"
So here's what I did so far:
Drove the piss out of the Z4 loaner on errands. Have literally taken the long way to everywhwere I needed to go. I'm impressed with the N20. Zero turbo lag, put the car and the DCT in Sport and it's a blast. The guy who drove it up for me at the dealer did not lie when he said "put everything in sport and drop the top. Sign here and have fun." Different league than the 335 for sure, but totally enjoyable.
Changed the oil on my long suffering E36 328is. Serviced everything and fixed a couple of minor things, but the right headlight flickering problem continues to elude me. ( it has an HID upgrade). Took it out for what in the airplane buisness is called a "funtional check flight" (you make sure it hits all the the numbers it's supposed to....like max speed) and wound up doing doughnuts in an abandoned parking lot. The PS2's still have a ton of tread left. Washed her and rolled her back into the garage until needed again. I swear she purred as she shut down. Or maybe it was air in the coolant. It is an E36 after all.
So what do you do car-wise when your E9x is in the shop for a couple of weeks?

Work on my E46, my EML problem still eludes me, Replaced throttle body valve, replace throttle position sensor, next is engine harness after I try MAF first.

Thinking about fixing the seat Occupancy sensor, though also thinking about just getting 1 of those ebay fixes lol.

Haha I do the same thing. My car just spent 9 weeks in the body shop...by the time I picked it up I had a garage full of new goodies waiting to go on (some of which I just dropped off at the shop and had them install while they were in there).
