Thought I'd chime in - recently joined the world of BMW with my 2007 335i Coupe. A bit NW of Milwaukee here, but get into town often enough.

Scooters GTG Meet/Party Sat. June 8th
Sorry for the short notice but i figured some might still be interested. For those of you who do not know about the GTG, it is basically a party + a car show. We work hard to keep attendance at no cost to attendees, except for the food/drinks. Show up, park, see some cars, have some food, drink, socialize... stay for the bonfire. There is camping available on site if you want to stay. Saturday May 14th Hubertus, WI (20 minutes northwest of Milwaukee) Begins: @ 3pm End: 11am next day 1185 Tally Ho Trail Hubertus, WI 53033 Questions? feel free to contact: THE_DK@HOTMAIL.COM Last year we had ~205 there at last time we counted, many more were in and out throughout the day. http://scootersgtg.webs.com/ Please register on the website so we have a ballpark of attendance Any questions? Feel free to post them. All makes and models are welcome |

coding in SE WI
I belive that I found a few threads where Wisco was looking for coding assistance in WI, but I believe he struck out. Has that changed? I was just looking for some simple things like coding to hifi etc...
Thanks - tt |

I've been lurking here for a while, long enough that I should probably announce my presence. I'm a new BMW owner, as of a couple months ago. I purchased a beautiful 06 330xi, black on black. Awesome car, I love it, but it has had it's challenges!
I'm not completely new to BMWs, I helped my son swap an M42 into his 91 318is, and we painted it. He also owns a 95 740I, and just traded the 318is for a 318i. I live North-East of Madison about 40 miles, and commute to Madison every day. I've learned a ton off this site, did a thermostat and water-pump replacement within 3 days of purchasing my 330 with instructions from this site! If you are ever considering a vehicle from Fidelity Motor Group from Barrington, Il, contact me for the story. Thanks! b-hodge |

Anyone know who these people are or have had service done by them? I just picked up a e92 335 and am thinking that a walnut blasting service should be done, also need spark plugs and oil change. This is a link to their thread: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=886333

Greetings fellow Earthlings - I'm hailing from Green Bay. Just moved into the Bimmer world with a used 2011 E92 335xi with 53k miles.
I've been reading a lot on this forum, learning a lot and found that I'll probably be dreading the maintenance on this car. I drive about 35k+ per year. So this might be a real short ownership, but I'll try to squeeze out 150-200k miles... Just bought a PROcede V3 - will install it next week. I think I got a pretty good deal on this ride. The x-drive was the ticket for Wisconsin winters, and it's got way more ballz than my 2010 VW CC. I find myself actually looking forward to the snow. Crazy, I know. My territory for work runs from the northern border of Wisconsin around Iron Mountain/Florence, out to Edgar/Marshfield and south to the north edge of Milwaukee, and including Door County. It about 1/3 of the state. Not that I like being a taxi, but I drive around so much, I'd probably be willing to help anyone needing to sell/transfer parts if I happen to be coming to your areas. It would be great to meet some of you in the Green Bay area who like to do your own maintenance, and maybe we can save a few bucks together and share info about local mechanics/dealers. Feel like I'm introducing myself at an AA meeting.... I'm Mike and I'm a BMW Addict...

Hi new e90 member here.
Just did my differentials and MTF... I have extra fluids: royal purple gear oil and redline ATF6. Also have 3 qts mobil1 0w-40. If anyone in milwaukee wants them at half price of amazon.com PM me. Also i am quite comfortable coding e90 2006 if you need help or easy mods. |

I think they're terrible everywhere. I already had to replace one of my winter tires from a pothole.
Also very new to BMW and this forum! Got myself a e90 328i 6MT as a graduation present to myself after college. Now moved to Madison and getting settled. Hopefully looking to get some solid upgrades on it when this "polar vortex" finally goes away and the salt gets off the roads. |
