i am just gonna paint my license plate matte black.. the dealer plate is smooth (no indented letters) so just gonna do a light sanding, and then get the really matte black spray can good 5 dollar + 2 hr weekend project

thats after driving in the rain for 10 minutes. it was perfectly detailed yesterday. fucking rain

ive always wanted to have mine colormatched, with the plate number taped off and sprayed silver. i dont have the balls to do it though

I know this is an old thread, but here is an example of a color matched plate frame painted by my local paint shop. I bought the frame (black metal) for $6at the auto parts store and had my painter paint it when he was doing my M-Tech lip and rocker panels.........
