Well, I got the call from my CA today telling me that my car has arrived! I stoped by in my way home from work today to take a quick look, and let me tell you... Its love at first site.

Here are some crappy pics that I took with my cell phone.

I was told that it is either going to be Monday or Tuesday before I have it. I have to have the tint done and the aluminum pedals installed.

Looks good! I drove one today at the BMW Ultimate drive for beast cancer thing. The open top is amazing. The sound of the engine/turbos/exhaust sounds soooo much better in the convertible.

I don't know how long she was at the VPC. My car was discharged from the boat on 3/13. The OC and the 800# never updated until yesterday when it finally said that the car was at the VPC, but it was actually just arriving at the dealership. I think that the snow that we got last week held things up a bit.

I live in PA as well, and my car got off the boat on 3/19. So I am probably looking at 6 more days. :rocks: Need more beer to pass the time.

Since you mentioned tints I have a quick question. Is it generally recommended to have the dealer install the tints or to get them done through someone else? Will the dealer install illegal tints? (ie. 20% in NY)

Most dealers do not have a tint person in house. My dealer is bringing in someone from the outside. Outside shops do not care on the percentage, they will do whatever you want. Also, at the same time, dealerships do their research, so I would trust who they bring in.
