255/35/19 or 245/35/19 on 11 rear?

Currently lowered on a set of ST V1 coilovers(E92) Fronts are 225/35/19 and rears are currently 265/35/19 on 19x9.5/11and it's too meaty in the rear for the look I want. I figured dropping down to 255 would give me more room to lower it because of the stretch on the tire. Should I go that route or go with the 245/35? Thank you

245 i think is pushing the tire to the limit on a 11, i would try 255 if you want a crazy stretch

I have 265/35 right now and the stretch is really minimal as in barely stretching. I saw in a thread that they would recommend the 245/35. I haven't seen anyone run 255/35 on an aggressive setup.

You are using wrong height ratio tyres. Most here with 19x11 et25 have 265/30/19 tyre. It will stretch more or if you want you can try 255/30/19.

All these have 265/30/19

I know Madk180sx have 245/35/19 on his 19x11 et11

245/35 on an 11 is a very nice stretch.

When stretching, it's always better to go for the lowest profile possible if you want the best looking stretch. I'd say go for a 255/30, however there won't be as many tire options as the 245/35. Also when searching I couldn't find any people running a 255/30/19 on an 11.

Here are some pics I pulled up of 245/35/19 on 11 inch wheels. For future reference, you can go to rimtuck.com, input the wheel and tire size combination you want to see, and hope something pops up. Tyrestretch.com is also a decent source.

Keep in mind, some tires run small and some tires run big. The same size tire won't always give the same stretch from brand to brand. Most people say the cheaper brands stretch better.

If you're just looking for the same amount of stretch that your 225/35 has on 9.5, I'd suggest a 265/30. Not sure why you went with a 35 profile in the rear to begin with.

Thanks for the response. I really wanted to throw a 265/30 on it but the guy that I get my tires from didn't have it at the time. I opted for a 255/35. It stretched just right for me and I'm still doing adjustments on the height. So I'll figure it out but without a doubt my next set of tires will be a 265/30 maybe a 275/30 like tee is running.

I believe Tee is running a 285/30, unless he went down a size. Either way, you won't want a 275/30 if you want a stretched/slammed look like you said. Tee can fit such a wide tire because his wheels are 1.5'' wider than yours, so even those wide tires like 275+285 still stretch.

And1 to all of this, always stretch wide and never stretch tall.(its pretty nooby if you see someone still do this nowadays) Its the only reason why i went with the widest width so i can stretch the widest patch that allows me with the amount of poke/camber i wanted.

the 245/255.35 are all taller than a 265.30 so basically the wheel will look smaller the height will be raised which makes for a really really gay look lol. the 265.30 will fit and look superior in all aspects pending on your desired height and camber of course always.

The man himself! Lol. If the 265/30's were available at that time I would've picked them up. And for ~$400 for two tires after I've spent close to ~$1500 this last week on wheels and tires I'm waiting for my connect to get some 265/30's. I'm on ST's so I'm going to go as low as I can in the rear. My fronts are just right.
