From Shiv's Documentation:

-User Adjustables
No changes here. Same caveats apply. Default User Torque is set to 80% on both maps. Those v29.2 and newer folks who cherish diagnostic invisibility should leave User Torque alone for now. Those who don’t care about that can raise the values. On 91oct, don’t go above 85%. On 93-94, don't go above 90%

Running a doomsday map would imply that you care about diagnostic invisibility, so leave user adjustables at 80% if this is the case.

i understand that was shiv's recommendation for now. however, it seems like there was some uncertainty with his comment and also leaves the matter open-ended for the future.

shiv didnt exactly say that increasing the ut values would definitely trigger any diagnostic codes.

so my question was for those who has v29.2 and raised ut values above 80%, have you had any issues with that?

shiv's most recent comment on this subject per 11-12-08 post

Doomsday guys (those who care about diagnostic invisibility) should wait for the being before adjusting UT above 80%. I'm just being overly conservative but I'm aware of your concerns.

just trying to help you out

why don't you email shiv directly?

Shiv or anyone, I have the 11-14 doomsday map. I took out my car out this morning around 7am, everything was fine. Went home and started up the car around 8am, long start and engine went to limp mode. Restarted the car about 4-5 times, with same results of long starts and engine limp mode, at times feels like the car is going to die. Replaced the fuel pump about 2 months ago, with about 2400 mi on it. I'm suspecting the pump, but I was wondering if chip maybe cause of it? or if anyone with chip had this problem? I had no problems prior until now. Just kind of weird that it happened all of a sudden. Thanks.

Jesus, I can't believe they still don't have the fuel pump problem fixed yet, after all this time. Yeah, sounds exactly like a bad pump again. Really sorry to hear this, especially about how fast it failed. Certainly making more power requires more fuel, but I can't believe the pump would be so close to the design limit that adding a tune (and the extra fuel that requires) would cause failure like this. That's probably because it can't. The design is faulty and has yet to be fixed.

What a pain in the ass.

Sure is. Good thing for warranty. However they needs to fix this problem, and what happens when warranty goes out?!

Gonna try the bypass loop and see what happens when back to stock.

Good question.

I thought you had updated to the new 12-15 map and firmware?

My money is that you're still going to have the problem. You should pull your work order from the first HPFP replacement and check the P/N of the pump they installed as the replacement.

Yeah it has nothing to do with the maps or firmware. So don't bother trying to update to the newest stuff. Just take your car to the dealership and they will replace your fuel pump. Eventually your current fuel pulp will fail completely rendering your car undriveable.
