The music gets louder as you drive faster??

For some reason, my salesperson told me that the music gets louder as you drive faster, although i did not notice anything getting louder as we went on the highway. But is that an actual "feature"..if it is, what good does it do? haha

You can adjust the sensitivity of it. I have it turned all the way down. I hate this feature in other cars...

I have hear music magically increase volume (drastically) at 50 mph or so... Our cars are pretty good at drowning out road noises, so speed sensitive volume is rather useless...

You can adjust it to get louder as you go faster....it's in the Audio controls somewhere, check your radio manual.

Do you have idrive? If you do, there are settings in the audio menu for speed sensitive sound...you have 4 settings: off, low, med, and high. You can play with those settings to see what you like. Personally, I don't like it, and turn it off.

yea i noticed that too, you have to go to where you adjust the bass nd treble and stuff to adjust it, i was going about 125 the other day and noticed that my ears were hurting very badly and had to turn the volume down

I must be the only one who likes it. I like having the music louder on the highway, and quieter as I'm driving slower and approaching my destination. I keep mine at the middle setting.

It's a good feature if you drive with your windows down and sunroof open.
