sounds good, what about warranty issues, say ur fuel pump goes out, they may decline warranty ???? Just wondering.

warranty shouldnt be voided by this because its too different issues, and most likely wont be cause by the muffler delete.

also can you take some pictures from underneath?

Do you gain any HP by doing a muffler delete?

Did you delete the secondary cats and run straight pipes?

stick a golf tee in it...seriously

the rattling you are both hearing is probably your rear seat storage bin, put 2 tennis balls in there and it will go away. You'll have to really push to get it to close, compress the balls some too.

Ok kids, thats today's lesson, how to fix your e92 w sports gear.

i had the bastuck, probably the absolute best exhaust made for this car, i sold it because i was selling my car now with the slow economy its taking longer to sell my car so i wanna do this to hold me over in the mean time, this muffler delete is a different sound than the bastuck. the bastuck made my car sound like a precision tuned machine, i think the muffler delete is a whole different kind of animal IMO

this exact thing happened to me... my fuel pump went out and the dealer told me its because of the exhaust even though it had gone out 2 other times b4 deleting my mufflers. I took it to another BMW dealer and they didn't complain about the exhaust and fixed it with no problems

i had muffler delete and 2ndary cats in place. Sounds pretty good. I didn't like it too much in the higher RPM range. Down low it sounds the best imo. I also had the rattle in the rear. Use the tennis balls as stated above.

This definitely drones, especially at highway speeds but I got used to it

Has anyone ever tried install some sound deadening material in the trunk to reduce the drone? I came from ClubLexus.com and lot of people there used these material to reduce cabin noise with aftermarket exhaust.

WTF all ive read for the past 2 months is that a muffler delete on an e92 335 sounds like complete shit, thats why i didnt go through with this. Unfortunatley i cant hear the vid (work ).

Is it just a muffler delete with straight pipes in place of them?

do you think deleting the mufflers will make the car lose HP due to loss of backpressure?

What does drone mean?
Seems like a lot of people are doing this instead of going with an aftermarket system.

What are the drawbacks of going this route? Do you get ANY performance gains, or is it mainly for the sound?

performance gains/losses are all minimal.. I personally wasnt able to tell the difference through the butt dyno. .. It's for the sound, my friend.
