I want mid to low 12s and I'll be happy. Or maybe just embarrass the early 2000s Viper GTS that lives nearby. Speaking of nearby cars a buddy of mine should be going to NED in his fully built and caged Chevy Cyclone. He says it's in the 10.6-10.7 so it should be fun to watch.

From what I hear Epping seems to be a little on the slower side compared to most tracks. I've never raced there but I have a few buddies who tell me this. My friend had an sti w only about 315 awhp and he was spinning second at NED. funny thing is, he said the car had never spun second on the street EVER.

Ill be coming in with silvergsx. I have a 135i. Ill be on his 335i wheels because my vmrs are narrow in the rear. I want the most traction I can get. NED is a tough track. Traction is always an issue there. If i have traction and good launches im hoping 12.5..A bit of a stretch though. I also have another friend going with his JB4 135i and a supercharged G35.

Yeah last time I was there it seems rwd cars were havin trouble but it was interesting because at one point they sprayed something on the track and everyone got tons of traction where before it most were spinning tires. Not sure what they did to it but it seemed to help

13.4 @ 103 and then the car kept going into limp mode during the launch. Good times.

My best was a 13.4 at 104. It launched great but needs more on the top end.

Epping doesn't prep the track on street nights. They only prep for events. That's why traction sucks. It's mostly due to people driving from all over the place and carrying in all the road debris. That and all the kids that leak all over the track.

Does anyone have a place they recommend for brakes and/or other work? I'm at 75,000 and need brakes done, and Tulley's quote (as well as 3d auto works in Hudson) seem VERY high. I'm handy enough to put in a tune and change my own wheels, but above that I get a bit nervous.

Timing belt is screaming at me as well.
