Eisenmann Race on my 335i
Hey guys so I'm fairly new to this forum because I recently purchased my car and I already want to put in a new exhaust. I have maintenence for another 6 months and warranty till 2017. Will BMW be anal about me getting an Eisenmann exhaust on the car? I don't want to settle for the BMW PE or Dinan because quite frankly their too tamed for my taste. Feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

All Bmw dealers are different , that being said .Unless the exhaust damages anything on the car and they can prove it then they won't fix it, other than that it should be fine.

Your warranty is not going to be voided by a catback exhaust. That being said, things like exhausts and aftermarket wheels are dead giveaways that other parts of the car have been modified. I would suggest that if you plan to put a tune on the car, keep the rest of it as stock looking, sounding, etc as humanly possible.

You're the first one saying that! PS Eisenmann are sh*t on a N55... Try "searching" the board...

Hey bud, you might want to watch some youtube videos on the BMW performance exhaust and the eisenman race on an N55 "I quote make sure it's an N55 engine! It does make a difference in exhaust note". Not saying eisenman is bad, but BMW performance is just as good "In my opinion better" for 1000 dollars less. Do some more research. Just because Eisenmann has a strong name in the BMW community, doesn't mean it's the best.

Trust me. It growls and snarls. The Eisenmann on the N55 is meh, plus it's a grand more in cash none of us spend. Come to think of it, I think most of the N55 guys on the forums use PE and I don't recall too many with the Eisenmann... All dealers are different. Mine let's you do whatever you want as long as it doesn't cause any issues.

I have an Eisenmann on my N54 and it has a very aggressive sound. Not sure how it compares to PE though since I've never put them both side by side. I have heard that they reduced the tone on newer ones, so who knows.

I wanted a BMW PE at first until I heard the mann but now I am reconsidering. I'm really glad I made an account because I love all this feedback. Thanks everyone for their input and if I get the PE with AR Design downpipes will it sound deep and aggressive? I have a N55 engine btw.
