does anyone know if the facelift will have led rear lights and if so will they fit the current model, by the way if the pics that are about are for real why are they changing perfection?

I don't believe the rear lights are changed at all. The headlights have been changed - for the worse I suspect, and it appears to have the new larger mirrors first seen on the E90 LCI - apparently an EU regulation change.

If they do change the rear lights it will prob just be the section attached to the bootlid (similar to the LCi E90) - It would be too expensive for them to mess around with the rear 1/4 panel bodywork for just a slight facelift.

However, with the majority of BMW facelifts, they tend to get the LED rear lights. The E46 facelift gained them, as did the E90 LCi.

The E92 pics I have seen so far seem even more subtle than the E90 facelift though with very few changes except for headlamps, bumper shape and the silly wing mirrors.

When is the expected date for the start of deliveries for the facelifted E92?

Looks have hardly changed in this refresh, but what will be changed under the skin? will it get the 8 speed box from the 5 GT?

Today after dropping off my car for its 2nd service (£145) I was given a lift to work in a 535 GT, now there is a car needed a refresh from new. BUT the driver really rates it as one of the best cars BMW makes......

Prefer the current E92, but then again cars always look better in the flesh.

Tail lights on e92 are already LED but it will probably get LED indicators and brake lights as well.
