Nissan 370Z vs RENNtech DCT 335iS

After a drive shaft and diff replacement I was back on the track with a recent RENNtech N54 tune update. Still nervous about using LC again to avoid a breakage repeat, I was very soft on the LC while testing out new shift points with the new tune update.

So my very last run there was no launch control used. No sort of break boosting, which is bad for the DCT in the first place. I was just focused on learning, the new tune update, RPM shift points. It was one foot action, left foot off the brake, left foot on the gas peddle with gradually accelleration as would be done at a red light.

I was on "pump gas" only

Was the 370z stock? Automatic? Seems like a really bad time... lol

Car looks good, BuraQ. Not close to your 12.005 record, but a hell of a lot better than what i could do haha

The touring models can get pretty hefty. I think the Nismo version and the base models are the fastest in the 1/4 mile stock for stock.

Nice run

Nice run, did you get your work done under warranty, and was there any resistance from the dealer?

I believe he was stock by the looks of it. 11s are coming, I just have to break the fear of breaking something again

Canon VIXIA HF R30..........The RT tune delivers power smooth like butter, never had codes thrown. Love it and never looked back

Yes my work was done via the dealer under warranty. No problem from the dealer other than the next time it will be on me . Car goes in as is with RENNtech badging, I never have to uninstall anything, or flash back to stock. I am straight forward with them.

Its my established relationship with the dealer from since owning 5 BMW cars. There is a golden rule, dont piss them off, threat them like they are your customers .
