E90 Sport Pkg Springs

Do I need to change shocks & struts when changing from regular springs suspention to OEM sport package springs ?
Do I have to match the SP springs with the SP shocks & struts?

I guess I can chip in a lil comment with the ride quality since my car came with ZSP. Overall I love the way it rides, yeah bumpy road will make it ride hard a little, but you can always try your best to avoid it and since it's OEM parts, I would not have to worry if the shocks are blown....

HI just one quick question, I've upgraded my E90 when I purchase off the dealer with the 15mm lowered setting (sport setting)
I'm just wondering what have they changed ? Is it only the 15mm lowered springs or its a sport suspension package with lowered springs and sport shocks?

I'm just a bit confused...

also whats SP and ZSP etc ? what do they stand for ?

thanks !

ZSP is the code for the "sports package" in the NAmer market.

To the OP: if you are going to the trouble of swapping out the springs, I would definitely change the struts/shocks at the same time. The cheapest way to get the parts is probably to buy them from someone that has installed aftermarket coilovers and has their OEM parts collecting dust on some shelf in their garage.
