Carbon Clean Out

So installed a tune, did plugs and coils before hand, car is hesitating when accelerating, like stuttering . Started before the tune and was hoping the coils, plugs, charge pipe would do the trick, but no change.. Car has 90K on it, no idea if it ever was done before cuz I am the 2nd owner and bought the car at 67k.

Turner wants $650 for walnut blast, any other cheaper but quality recommendations? Also, think this is the solution to my problem?

check your injectors.. especially now that it's cooler temps.
small boost leak.
plugs again.

your car has to be super super built up if it's having bad hesitation issues. I did my clean up at 101k no prior services and didn't feel much of a difference after the service. Just felt a little smoother that's it.

I will consider DIY with a full kit online. 650 for once is a lot..

Anyone here has the equipment and will charge less for the job?

such BS. especially for a regional forum. That guy isn't making enough to pay vendor fees when he walnut blasts for $350. It's like if I offer to code for $$$ I then get banned? I could never make enough coding to ever cover the monthly vendor fees.

He's a great guy! He has a 135i of his own and knows what he is doing. The shop is Chandler Autobody in Worcester. I believe it is his dad's shop. I can't find his number but just call up the shop and ask to talk to Pysi (I probably butchered his name :/ but it is pronounced "sigh").

Pretty pissed they deleted the thread because i had some good before and after pics on there of mine!

Only thing is I wouldn't worry too much about N55s as much as N54s. He showed me an N55 after 70k and it was literally not enough to spend even $350 to clean. N54, however, is ridiculous after 70k!

If i have time i will repost those pics!

Was it on Franklin St? I just called and the guy who answered barely spoke English, but said there isn't a Pysi that works there

Yes that is the one...and yes the owner speaks very broken English. The family is Vietnamese if I recall. Phi does not work at the shop, he is just the owner's son. I wish I could find his number, but no luck so far. Only exchanged PMs with him. I probably have given out way too much info already on this poor guy.
