I find it quite interesting how the 'done' thing is now to fit wheels like this and suspension that's very low in terms of price.

The car looks nice, but the wheels certainly don't suit it. Not sure about the numberplate either but then it's euro style.

I think fitting a set of wheels that don't require spacers would be great and going out to buy a set of higher-quality suspension (say KWV3) from the outset would have prevented you from buying more than once, but hey, I'm sure it was the look you desired rather than anything else.

Personally, I'd sell the wheels and suspension. Then i'd go to BMW in Park Lane and get them to make you some numberplates that are 100% legal. Fit wheels that are one piece, forged and light to remove some unsprung mass and then by all means a set of high end coilovers plus some alignment.

It is interesting to watch your thread and what you do to the car and I do think the splash of colour helps liven up a car that would otherwise just blend.

Thumbs up for effort and idea.

People will always have their own opinions so don't worry about the negative comments. Although i dont like the colour of the wheels and think the porsche emblems looks odd on a BMW, I loved reading the thread and seeing something different. I like the splitter, how the wheels fitted the arches and the no number plate look. Despite not liking the wheels, I think the inners would've looked nice sprayed black rather than red.

Top marks for being different. What's next?

Fair play for being different and to be fair i think the car looks good :thumbsup

Obviously alot of time has gone in to get the wheels to fit and sit the way they do and with the drop it looks spot on.

Mod your car the way you want not to someone else's approval

I think this car looks stunning and for what you've done to get that stance is a great job! Wheels are def not to everyone's taste but as Skelts pointed out, why mod the car to anyone else's taste ?! Rolling shots look great!
