Is 11 miles too much for a new 2006 e90?

Dealer has a car for me, but 11 miles on it...should I worry that it's the test car everyone uses???

That's prob one test drive where the the driver could've floored the car. Still - 11 miles is relatively harmless.

11 miles, are you seriously worried about 11 miles? Look on the bright side 11 less miles till the break in is over.

there's no car that will have 0 miles on it...every car has to do a dyno' test at the factory
During ED, I went to the factory tour and saw them testing every car....they even rev the car to over 100mph

Tire Fee = more commission

A SA told me once that the car doesn't register mile 1 for the first 7 or so miles the car moves so technically.... but no, prob all that whopin mileage is from car handler movment and MAYBE 1 test drive...

Thumbs up

Are you kidding me? When I went to pick my car up it had 2 miles on it. If you worry about a car having 11 miles on it and speculate that someone floored it , you are wrong. Driving 11 miles is only ONE ride. Getting a new car with 2 or 11 miles wouldn't make any difference to me. 11 is NOTHING.

Many many cars (mine included) have 5-15 miles when you get them..

I got charged a $5 tire fee and just about lost it in the guy's office. I had already signed a deal for the price of the car for 1, and 2 couldn't believe I was dealing with a high end car dealership and was getting nickel and dime'd for $5 measly dollars. Legit? probably. But I think the dealer should eat that fee.

11 would be a lot for me. i'd be really pissed at my dealer but i'd still take the car. remember the full warranty...

One test drive is not unreasonable to assume that someone floored it. Many people test drive to test the limits of the car. I have floored every single test car I have driven.

I wouldn't worry about one test drive - in that sense I agree... but I wouldn't go under the assumption that just one test drive didn't stretch the car past the break-in limits.

Tire fee -- is an environmental fee the STATE charges on EVERY NEW CAR SOLD.

In Florida it is 5.00 dollars
