Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well. As I've stated before, I have an '08 335 Coupe that recently has been doing a very annoying rattling, similar to a tick, tick, tick sound an old diesel benz makes.

I already took the car to the dealer twice, and the outcome has been a software upgrade, and a replacement of the waste gate actuators. After the second visit, the sound seemed to have gone away, but a few days later it came back.

Since I've heard some say that it's my HPFP starting to go, and others have said that the turbos need replacing... is there a TSB that supports either of these possibilities given my situation that would compel my SA to fix this once and for all?

when the wastegates were replaced the tech should have inspected the wastegate arms in the turbo for wear..likely they are loose and not allowing the wastegate to properly work..

I don't know if there is a TSB about either the HPFP or the turbos on the E92. I would thing replacing the wastegate on the turbos would have fix the issue if it was the turbo. I would have them take a look at the fuel pump this time.
