BMS Question - Dealer Reprogramming

I just picked up my car from the dealer for some warranty work and I guess as part of whatever they had to do, they reprogrammed the entire car with the newest update. The problem (if it is a problem) is that i have a BMS powerbox installed and I had it on Map 3 when i brought the car in. They didn't say anything to me and I can tell the car got reprogrammed because all the radio presets, etc were reset. Now that the car is reprogrammed, is my powerbox still on Map 3 or is it on Map 0 now? And if i reset it to Map 0 now, will that screw up whatever the BMW programming did?

you're fine. The BMS PBX is a stand alone box, so it should be unaffected by whatever the dealer did. The pbx should have stayed on map 3, but if you want to be sure, just perform the reset procedure again and put it back on map 3.

this may be a dumb question but i'm very curious as i was considering getting the bms.... can you not tell the difference in throttle response if it had been reset to 0 from 3?

thx.

The PBX is a piggyback tune. It doesn't permanently alter the ECU like a reflash does.

That's why I was wondering why the OP wasn't certain if it had been reset to 0.

they reset the car (including throttle response) so the car was relearning my driving habits....right off the bat driving off the dealership i felt a difference compared to when i brought my car in and i didn't know if it was the car or the powerbox.
