Bandimere 4/14/2012

Starting a new thread as the other one is a little too messy. List of attendees:

1. Alfred
2. Raceybmw
3. Mattsfeir
4. Richpike
5. Chris @ ardesign
6. Stephen
7....

Looks like we're just gonna meet at the gas station by bandimere around 7:15/20. I will be getting gas at the usual gas station in arvada around 6:50. For those who are going, can you post what you plan on doing? Where you're going to meet and what time?

I'll be at the gas station next to Bandimere by 7:15AM.

BTW - looks like it is suppose to rain on Saturday - do they typically have a make-up date if it is raining? Will they still go if it is just a small shower and they can dry the track, or will they call it for any rain?

See you guys Saturday!

Weather.com says chance of rain is only 30%. I hope it doesn't rain. Yes, if it rains, they will give you a credit (depends on how many runs you get that day). If it's a small shower, they typically wait til it stops, then they dry the track. See you there, rich!

Hopefully the rain will hold out until the afternoon or evening. It does look like temps will be very cool with the forecast highs in the 50's, could be some great times.

Not sure exactly when I'll be there, but I won't be meeting at the gas station, will just meet you guys inside.

We'll see about mid 12's, I'd be happy with upper 12's.

Just did some logs at lunch and all looks good, sub ambient IAT's, no timing drops, 10+ timing through the pulls on 91 plus meth 65% start boost and 0 IC. This was with temps in the low 70's, should be even better on Sat.

New plugs, coils, injectors, vanos solenoids, vacuum lines/canisters, and valve cleaning must be good for something.

Alfred what gas station are you meeting at in Aravada? I will be coming straight down I25 to I76. What exit will you be at on I25? I can meet you at whatever exit is easiest.

Stephen, it's this one: 6301 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002 US

If you want to, we can meet at the same gas station we met last time (off 120th and I25) then head down to bandi together?

My gas tank is almost empty I'm ready for Saturday. Who else is ready???

I'm hoping for low to mid 13s despite the issues my car still has.

My gas tank is almost empty too, but I still have to drive up there on Saturday I'll have to put a few gallons in before I head up.

Outside of the obvious (car seats, anything from the trunk, etc) is there anything else you guys remove? Rear seat cushion? I did a quick datasheet compare on weight for my winter tires vs. summer tires and my summer tires are almost 8lbs less per tire - I had no idea. Pretty crazy.

That's pretty good especially since it's rotational mass. That's like taking I think it's 3X the weight in static mass out of the car!

As for me, I don't remove anything else... Just leave it the way it is when I drive around town.

A light set of wheels and tires will make a big difference in how a car performs
