Where are the performance options for the XI models?

Why are the prices noticeably more expensive than aftermarket options?

It would be nice if you could mention that an online petition was started regarding a 335i/135 LSD and almost 200 335i/135i owners have expressed their wish to have a LSD available from BMW Performance in just 10 days.

dude please stress the need for performance Xi suspension. tell them iv got my money ready. this is crucial if they wanna keep up with Audi on the AWD game.

-Performance Rotors for the 335i.
-Performance Brakes for the 335i.

You will have to look @ H&R/KW/FK because it doesn't look like BMW will be making a Performance suspension for it.

The xi was designed to handle with certain factors in mind that the performance suspension would not coexist with.

The video will give Eric's exact answer, but that is what I recall.

Unfortunately, these will be a no-go as well. If the brakes are designed early enough in the vehicle's life cycle to be crash tested, etc, they would have been a possibility. But the current generation will not see these.

Eric shared my opinions in that the stock brakes are powerful, but we are both unsure of how they hold up in track usage.

...You can always try retrofitting M3 brakes.

I had asked about this too. One of my main questions actually. Oh well

But I agree, I had spoken with one of the BMW Performance guys at Tischer and he confirmed this, also recommended against performance brakes since they did not show the same potency as stock 335 brakes. I always wondered about that. Makes me doubt those stock 328 brakes

+1, although I am very content with my Quaife. At a minimum this portends well for future non-M BMW purchases.

So they are "discussing" the LSD 4 years after the 335i launched. Not very good news...but at least they think about it

I think it is great news that they have one in so far in the development lifecycle and that the head of the department is trying his hardest to get one released. Can't ask for better news short of one being released.

And I made it a point to show him your petition and he found it very encouraging.

Sorry, I didn't want to sound discouraging, but I just don't know how long it takes BMW Performance to bring an idea to reality. Most manufacturers need years to develop new stuff...maybe it's different with BMW Performance though

Maybe a site moderator is kind enough to make the LSD petition thread sticky for a few weeks/months, so we can raise enough signatures to help the "business case" Eric was talking about

Thanks a lot for bringing it up in the interview !
