completed 12/97, this was the last car used in the last "Real" dukes of hazzard movie.

i forgot the exact figure but they had 100-200 cars that ended up getting wrecked throughout the run of the show and movies.

That is a real General Lee. If you notice, it's auctioned off by John Schneider, who played Bo Duke on the Dukes of Hazard. They had built way more than one car (that's what I've read before).

I just looked and the bid is just shy of $10 million!

Must be ALOT of guys out there with some SERIOUS Toy money!

KITT might not be worht as much after the Recent David Hasselhoff incident!

If you're thinking about KITT, you might want to get a Car Fax first!

I wish I had the money. I have dreamed of that car my whole life. If I restored a car I would do this. I think it would be cool if I got a new challenger and did that paint scheme.

There's a guy here locally that did that. He brings it out to the local shows during the summer but you never see it on the road any other times.

Since this was built in 1997, it is NOT the one that appeared in the TV series. Apparently, they made a movie about the Dukes of Hazzard going to Hollywood (which no one has heard about), and featured that car in it, but the TV series was from 1979-1985.
