Arrow Radar detector

what radar detector are you guys using in HK?

does Escort, Valentine One....etc works well in hk? or the Taiwan/ China made stuff will better fit for proper band detection on the road in hk.

recommendation would be high appreciated

Was using my V1 when I was in HK, and there was too much false alarm. So, I would say the V1 doesn't work well in HK IMO.

When I bought mine, a good friend of mine told me "You will always get false alarms. It's up to you if you want to believe it". Some could be false whereas some are real. My RX65i goes pretty crazy around Wanchai and it ain't due to the ladies on Lockhard road

I like my V1 because it has directional arrows. It's never let me down in the 8 years I've owned it. I've only used it in HK for about 6 months though. Decided to take it out of my car in the US, and bring it back here after I got busted going at what i thought was a perfectly safe speed on the Easter Kowloon Corridor . Damn undercover 535i wagons!

RX65i

Had a 9500, very few alerts. Sold it and on recommendation from my friend, got RX65is for each car. From my relatively ignorant understanding, RX65i is only one which can detect the new Redflex cameras. Have to be careful, first one I went to buy in MK, guy was trying to sell me RX65 not RX65i. Ended up buying from the distributor Neltronics HK.
