Wait, that's 538lb/ft (I'm assuming at the wheels). Can the transmission even handle that? I thought the ZF is rated at max 500lb/ft.

That's ... An insane amount of torque. How long do/did your tires last?

I can hear the noise, its a little more faint but that hammering on a tin can noise is unmistakeable. If he puts the camera/microphone closer to the hole you will hear it better

Why wasn't the EGR just turned off (tuned out) as part of the tune? The ECU would simply not open the EGR valve to let re-circultated air into the engine.

Has anyone actually sourced the reason for this racket? It's a major metallic non lubricated clattering going on.

DPF Replaced by a downpipe. Gets you to + 355HP 730NM.
Hi I've recently purchased a 335d M Sport and new to this forum. It's a cracking car but I'm after more power. Say I did get the DPF replaced with a downpipe, who will I have to go to for remapping to get 355Hp and 730Nm of torque? I've looked at many companies but they tend to quote figures around the 630Nm mark.

I'd very much appreciate your help!

My tuner mentioned that it could be something related to the Timing Chain.

yeah, im definitely not doing an EGR delete, specifically because of this thread. I still think if done right the cooler could be bypassed if an EGR delete has been done, but it would be necessary to make sure the coolant connections follow the correct path
