civics and integra have 4x100 lug pattern, its smaller so it wont fit. and other vehicle like jetta, audi tt, and celica are 5x100. they wont fit either. yea, i am a rim fanatic. ahahaha. |

what is the price on the adapater? and i knkow that 7.5 is a little slim. i had airbags on the acura, so i got the thinnest wheel to tuck the best. can someone confirm the stock 16's being 7.5 wide.
Trust me guys, if i didnt already own rims, and had 3,500-5,500 to spend on a new set, i would be buying something very very different. but i wouldnt mind using these since i have them

wow that is literally the dumbest wheel design i've ever seen in my life. I really really hope the manufacturer of that wheel didn't do that and just some moron decided to redrill the wheels like that. Either way, don't drive with these wheels
The walls for those lug holes are very thin, bordering on non-existant If all you do is "pimp" your car and drive around at around 5-15mph I guess its ok to drive with that wheel. If you actually drive your car like a drivers car, then that wheel is going to fail eventually. You drive a very well engineered car, dont use those wheels ! |

Mark's right I hope the manufacturer didn't drill that. If they did they're just asking for a lawsuit when one of those wheels fails and causes an accident.

wow! you guys are kinda making me nervous. as the thread perviously states a few times, these wheels came off my old car. where they lived for about a year. during that year, these will have done 110 mph, and it felt totally fine. these wheels have street raced. these wheels have taken corners aggresively, etc etc. now MAYBE if they EVEN fit my bmw, they would use a DIFFERENT combination of holes which COULD make it unsafe. but hypothetically speaking, if it uses the same bolt pattern, i would trust it 100%. also, after reading your threads, getting a little nervous, and a little more examination, i took a picture of the exact same wheel, from behind. here are two pictures. as you can, these holes are seperate holes, they are not oval looking like they appear from the front of from the first set of pictures. please look

Those two rims looked different from the first one that you showed.......I'm sure they were drilled by the person who sold them to you to make them fit your Acura.

you definitely might be right about them being drilled. i dont know. im gonna call the guy that sold them to me, and hopefully he will not lie to me. But all the pictures i have posted in this thread, are all of the same rim. i actually, only have one rim with me, the other 3 are locked up in storage. but thats why i posted pictures of the back, because it looks totally different from the back. i was suprised myself, and im looking at the real thing, not a crappy picture

well... i took the car to the shop. i was a little disappointed because the kid there was being a little lazy, instead of unbolting a rim and putting this one up, he got his little offset tool, and just measured it out. it seems pretty close, but not close enough.
maybe the pictures arent doing justice. looking at these rims in real life, there is NOTHING wrong with how the are drilled out. from the front it looks weird. but when you look at the backs of the rims, or the second set of pictures, you can tell, these holes are perfectly fine. they said i can get spacers and it should be fine. they will add about an inch to the rim. and since these are 7.5 inch wide rims, it shouldnt be to wide, but im not sure if it will look retarded. i probably will just sell these and maybe one day buy another set of rims. wheels lose thir value faster then anyhting else in the whole world. its really disappointing. id want a set of mayas or lowenharts but i cant see spending 5,000 dollars on something that will be worth 2,500 in 2 years.

HAVE 5 HOLES.....NOT 8! Some places won't mount your rims due to safety issue....... just sell the rims...and let them be someone else's problem.....and get yourself a new set of rims... why spend $5,000 on rims.....for a 2 year lease......... for about $2,000......you can get yourself a nice set of 18" or 19"........... plenty of them! Look around!

for the records. this wheels will be 100% safe for whatever vehicle they fit on(acura tl, cl, 5 lug accord, etc). but they are a different offset then the BMW, so i will be selling them and one day be getting a new set of rims.
anyway. a moderator can close up this thread. thanks again
