just a quick thought. new this costs $300 and there are 3 vins. you used one vin then sell for $200. you are net ($100). next owner paid $200 uses one vin then sells later for $100. his net is ($100). last owner uses remaining value and is net ($100). this seems the most fair. you cant expect someone to buy it from you for $250 leaving you net ($50). the remaining owners, and especially the last owner, will pay more for the same useful value. you are asking prospective owners to eat more of a loss. just a thought.

He said he is no rush to sell. Just wait until inflation pushes the price of a new BT tool up to $375 and then this will be appropriately priced.

You can get the VIN's cleared. From what I remember they are stored in a database at BT when you use the software. I heard that the first clear is free.

A brand new BT tool used once is worth full price if shipping is free. Just my opinion. Good luck with your sale.

thanks... i think so too.. thats why it is already SOLD for my asking price.. so you guys with your rediculous rationalizations of selling it for 100 off because one vin is used were proved wrong..

also... wellwell "net" doesn't mean what you think... if you're trying to be an ass and say stupidness.. at least use the right words..

Yea everyone is making the claim that.. price = # of VIN's

I don't equate price to that.

thats because he can have the vins cleared once, so really each vin is worth
300/6 = $50 minus any S&H to and from BT for the clearing
