Hey all,
I'm looking to acquire a second set of rims/tires for summer driving. I have a 2011 E90 335i xDrive with sport pkg. Stock rims are 17x8 style 161 with 225/45 blizzaks. Stock XI suspension, no mods. I put the snows on a few months ago as the original all-season runflats were done. I'd like to put 19's on in a few months. I'm eyeing either OEM/rep style 359 or 313. Should I stick with 8-9" width square all around? Or go 8/9, 8.5/9.5, or 9/10 front/back? What fits without rubbing or looking silly? I am not looking to modify the suspension or roll any fenders. I think what is confusing me the most is how offsets factor into the equation. I understand that roll speed and total tire diameter have to be within a certain tolerance between the fronts and rears. Anyway, any input or suggestions are appreciated. I tried searching for info but had a hard time finding input re: xdrive. Thanks, James |
