CC ID 63 - "tyre failure"
I was driving home today when i got the red tire symbol on my dash. I looked up the CC ID code and it is "tyre failure." I have checked all tire pressures and everything looks fine so I'm wondering why my car would throw this code? I have tried resetting the tire monitors and I still continue to get the same CC ID. Any thoughts? Failed sensor?

I wanted to lower the pressure a few pounds, to see if the run flats would feel softer, and the warning came up immediately. I have to have them at the door sticker pressures or the warning comes up. I think that can be reprogrammed to another pressure, but I did not mess with it.

You could have a bad wheel sensor or antenna in the fender liner. Needs to be checked by a tire shop with a TMPS detector or a BMW specific scan tool to see the RDW module faults.
