I thought I knew what I was doing but now I'm a bit worried.

I've got an SE model and I am on the verge of installing Eibach pro kit springs and had no intention of changing anything else with it, was gonna put them straight onto the existing setup.

Is this going to cause me problems? Am I going to be replacing the shocks sooner than I would have otherwise?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Those wheels are Jade R's I believe. I've just had a set of Apollo's, lovely wheel and very happy with them

Very happy Witt the eibachs too now they have settled, nice subtle drop especially at the front, just looks more evened out. Comfort wise it's no worse than standard m sport springs but body control is deffo better, very little lean in the corners.

Mart have you gone from M sports to eibach?

It is quite possible that you'll end up replacing the SE dampers sooner than you otherwise would - but that might just mean replacing them at 100k instead of 150k... If you thrash the car and put loads of stress on them, they'll not last as long as if you drive sensibly. It's all relative

Another perspective would be that premature wear isnt really the 1st concern, incompatability is the real bugbear.

You'd be wise to avoid the H&R's then,if comfort is important.
The aesthetic of H&R is the dogs, but ride quality is frankly awful, you might improve it however,if you fitted solid rubber tyres

To put your mind at rest then, I've just had my Eibach springs delivered. It says in big letters on the promo leaflet inside the box that all their springs are designed to work with OE dampers.

Thanks Jay. Can you kindly update us with your findings / review?

I am still double minded, as if to go for M sports suspension or these?

Got mine from Demon Tweeks via their eBay shop - best price I could find.

Get the right part number from the Eibach website, then search ebay for it, making sure you check the box to include descriptions too.
