Please see note below after order from ECS. I would like to know if anyone has experienced and if there is a difference? Should I be concerned? The answer I received back today was real vague from ECS saying the part is correct and warranty will be handled per usual.

These are going on a 2008 335i e93.

I received my order today with the following numbers listed below.

ES# 2877835
Manufacturer# 47-269064

I spoke to Bilstein US today and they do not have this # in the US catalog and could not provide me any information on this set. The number above shows as a previous revision on your website in small writing. The number Bilstein US has is 47-120471 which is what I thought I would receive based on the manufacturer # on your website. They also stated the 47-120471 number has been on backorder for some time.

I'm being told this is a different part # possibly from a different distributor in Germany. They also stated there could be differences in spec and we possibly chose not to carry in the US based on our standards.

Could you please confirm/provide the differences between the two?

Is the lifetime warranty still honored if the part # I received is not in a US Bilstein catalog?

Will fitment be any different?

Thanks in advance for addressing my concerns above.

So I was looking to get this as well and did a quick search based on what you said. The part number does come up online on the European Bilstein site as being for our car so the fitment should be okay. It says it replaces the old part number. As far as the differences I can't really tell. Here's a link for you to take a look at

http://web1.carparts-cat.com/default...04&14=4&12=130

Took a look at the certificates and from what I can tell, the front dampers have a different part number, all the springs seem to be the same and the rear dampers have the same part number as well.
