Metro Overnight Parking

Taking the Amtrak to NYC this weekend. Instead of paying $20 a day at the Union Station garage, I was thinking of parking at the West Falls Church Metro overnight (Sat morning to Sunday evening).

Have any of you had any issues leaving your cars in metro lots for more than 24hrs?

People park in the Dunn Loring metro station overnight all the time. I live in a condo across the street from it. My friends park overnight there without any issue.

Those condos are really convenient. Do you know if all that construction has affected the # of spaces available?

i've parked at a couple of stations over the weekend w/o any issues. Just park in common areas where you won't stand out.

There is less parking at Dunn Loring with the construction but its never a big deal on weekends.

I have never been towed or ticketed for parking a few days over the weekend.

There is, however, county PD trolling around and will ticket you for tags, plates, registration, bad parking, and anything else they can find on you, so keep those papers up to date and park inside the lines.
