Suspension and Matte Black = winning
As Charlie Sheen said throughout his various interviews, I am definetely...
WINNING First off I was talking to my buddy regarding my one-year anniversary of my BMW purchase. I can't believe how far my car has come in the past year. I thought it was weird I hadn't received anything yet and sure enough, next day rolls around and this is what I find on my porch... It is on a nice canvas paper and I actually really like it. I would definitely loose a pen pretty easily as a college student, so this will be framed and hung on the wall. Next up is what I purchased a couple weeks ago. My buddies have been purchasing road bikes for some odd reason as of lately and been having a lot of fun so I decided to join the crew. Now I hope you all didn't think I vinyl'd my car matte black, because I didn't. However, I did choose that color scheme for my road bike. 2011 Raleigh Revenio 3.0. It is a matte black with lime green highlights. I positively love it and with full shimano 105, the gear and quality of parts is phenominal. I have had experience with bikes but this one is an extremely good starting point. I didn't want to drop 2.5k+ for a CF frame, so this will do for now, haha. Now, on to the good stuff. As you all know, I have done a lot of performance/track oriented modifications to my car. However, my suspension was lacking. I love my KW V2s, but the progressive springs have more to be desired. Since HPA is right in my backyard I hit up harold and told him it would finally be time to upgrade my suspension. Due to money constraints I was not able to get the full M3 conversion, but this will do for now. This car was already a beast on the track and now it will just be ridiculously fun to drive. Hope you all enjoy!!! KW-Swift conversion w/ Vorshlag Camber plates. Spring rates are 400F/800R, a perfect setup for the track. HPA had 500F but that would be ridiculous for everyday use, lol. And for all you M3 junkies I got the front control arm conversion kit as well. The guide Rods, tire rods, rear control arm, and subframe bushings will come in the future. And in addition, Fred from ER just hooked me up with a new and improved design (proposed by myself and Fred thought it was also a good idea) for the 335i/135i charge pipe. The meth bung used to be relatively close to the BOV, which would thus leak minor amounts of methanol and not be fully effective in cooling the air, found in the first picture. The second picture shows a better location for the meth bung, where it will be able to fully atomize the methanol into the air and will not leak into the BOV. The only stupid thing is all of these modifications can't be seen at LTBMW's grand opening, but i'll try to brag about them in some fashion. It's all about the "go" over "show" However I will probably have a change of heart on Saturday when I see some pretty ridiculous rides, lol. Hope to see you all there!!! Thanks for looking. ~Mike

The bike is around 18lbs i believe, like most aluminum frames with CF fork. I was looking at the Giants, but they are pretty pricey, although you get really really good parts. I think this was a good beginner bike and I can move up from here.
