In need of particular headlight component E92

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
In need of particular headlight component located within the headlight assembly of a pre-LCI E92. Because the specificity of the item it doesnt have a part number and isnt included in any part of the assembly, so it cant be bought from any manufacturers.

Im looking for the cover of the turn signal within the headlight. Its clear and triangle shaped, about 8 inches or so. For those of you who have been inside the headlight you probably know what I'm talking about. If anyone has broken headlights or for some reason has these I will buy for considerable $$$. If someone can point me to a seller of these I'll also send $$$. Heres a pic for clarity. Need the green.

I have a set of Pre LCI- adaptive headlights just sitting in my garage. They're scratched to so shit on the clear cover, but everything else about them is good to go.

I wouldn't install them, just tear them apart and take what you need*

Considered. A whole set of headlights will probably run me more then I'm looking to spend. I don't imagine you would part functional headlights for what I'm in need of. I know I wouldn't want to.

Do you need passenger or driver side? Or it doesn't matter?

Is this something you're still looking for? I have that part in a spare driver's side headlight that I have (no passenger, sorry). I've gutted the electronics of the headlight and the outer plastic lens is shot, so I probably won't be using that corner lens. I might consider pulling off the cover off and removing the part you need if you're still interested. PM me.

At the moment no. If I have to work on my headlights again I'll possibly notify you. Im not asking you to hold on to them or anything, but you never know.

Anyone happen to still have a spare e92 pre-lci light laying around? Just needing one to tear apart, doesn't have to be functional or pretty as long as the insides are okay. I'll be throwing it in the trash after i tear it apart and get some measurements!
