Products by hand

OK, I want to buy a sealant to apply to my car however I do not have a buffer. I'm looking at Zaino or the Klasse twins but it seems that most ppl do this with a machine. Since I don't have a proper garage or an orbital what would be the best product to buy/use? BTW, how much time would it take to apply this stuff? My car has some swirls and scratches but with the winter coming up, that would be the least of my worries...

I do all my sealant and waxing by hand as well.

When you order Zaino, you should get the terry cloth covered sponge. That's what I use for applying it, then I use a MF towel to wipe it off. Takes maybe 20-30 minutes to do a layer.

I used to do everything by hand, but got a PC buffer recently, good investment. Saves me lots of time and rubbing effort.

Full Molecular Jacket from Detailed Image. Best stuff I've ever used. Incredible glass like appearance on my car. It looks like it's wet. I applied mine by machine, but it can also be applied by hand. It's expensive, but well worth it. Here's a pic on my black saph, before I put on Natty Blue wax (also done by hand).

Like I said since i'm applying by hand it's kinda pointless to try to hide my swirls right? I was reading about Z5-Pro and it looks like it can be done by hand...is that possible or is that just a pipe dream?

It saves you a lot of time, and it saves you from the arm sores the next day

I have used/will continue to use z5 and apply it by hand, and there are no swirls.

all z5 does is hide the swirls so eventually they'll come back, thats the main reason why I'm not a fan of z5 although I do like the shine factor.

If your interested in hiding swirls get some Clearkote red moose glaze.
Apply by hand then let your car bake in the sun. Top it with Poor boys Natty
blue.

Come on guys....hide swirls? There's no reason to do this. REMOVE THEM!!!
You've got to get a random orb. The key word here is "random". You can not mess anything up. The type of buffer that you could (and would) mess up your paint with is a high speed. Only pros use them. I can hold my random orb from Griot's Garage in the same spot for 30 seconds and nothing would happen.

why waste all that time when you could just take the swirls or scratches out for good and not having to worry about the next time you have to cover them...

After reading autopia for a while everything just is confusing, there are so many combos it makes my brain hurt

I have used P21S and it is SUPER easy to apply by hand and that is my wax of choice. Yesterday I tried the Klasse All-in-One and Sealant Glaze by hand it was a breeze to do as well. From the time I started washing the X5 to the time I finished was about 2 hours and 30 minutes. I am very pleased with the product and the longevity is supposed to be great from the reviews.
