Well considering I don't drive like that, my alignments is pucker (as checked out by BMW themselves) and the fronts still have 5mm left what else could it be?

Just got 23,000+ miles out of my Michelins Ps2's. they are without doubt the best I've ever had, just about to replace the rears and will be buying Michelins again.
Though I do tend to run winter wheels from November to February every year.

The D3 is a tuned 20d, right? If they still make PS2 I would consider forking out the extra for a pair this time, just to see if they last anywhere near that long on mine. Wonder if the PSS, which is the successor to the PS2, would fare as well? I wondered about the PS3 but I've seen way too many bad reviews.

How have you found them? A lot of the reviews I found said that they felt very unstable at motorway speeds, too many for it to be coincidence.

Not as good ride/grip as PS2's I had on my e46 but vast improvement on the bstone rfts.
I like the longevity of Michelins but my brand loyalty is being tested given that Ps3 is the only option in oem staggered 18" XL load rating sizes as non rft ps2 is discontinued and Michelin have chosen not to market PSS in Europe. Frustrating as I'm about 5k away from needing new rears so open to suggestions. After 20k, fronts still have 4-5mm tread on them...... |

You are complaining about wear rates of performance tyres and then saying you'll throw away 2 tyres with plenty of life left in them.
