LMAO really funny reply with the 335, when in manual shift you burn gas so quickly! the last time I ran with the m5s and we went another route I burned a full tank of gas before I got to captree, I had less than 50 miles to fill up again it was pretty crazie and we didn't start from Floyd Bennett.

The permit was revoked because one of the M5 guys cursed out a ranger and they where doing burnouts and speeding.

I left my house with a 1/4 tank...I figured it would be enough (and I was running late). Then I sat in pothole repair traffic going westbound on the belt. That is where I burned it all up...1-2 gear lol.

I got to the FBF and the gas light came on with 54 miles left. I beat on it some going back out to the island, and the needle was moving literally right before my eyes. So I cut it back and stayed in cruise mode (55-60mph...I get 33mpg like that)...but it kept dropping. I wanted to do a good pass down ocean parkway, but I was afraid of conking out and being stranded .

Mind you I have a 6MT too.


Next time I will make a note to have at least 1/2 tank the night before. But if we go up to Bear Mountain or Mohonk Reservation, I'll burn 2 tanks in a day like I did during the Porsche meets a few years back

damn... why did u ask now.. lol my memory aargh!! i think it didn't for the first cop, however, I believe the second cop (the one that pulled you over) saw everything. did he give you a ticket for speeding? he couldn't. Some cops will give you a ticket like they did with me one time, speeding under direct observation. I was so pissed. He was right behind me at like 230am i thought somebody was trying to fuck with me.. my rear shades were on and i couldn't make out the tail lights from a a couple hundred feet away.

My radar detector pics up all!!! it saved me a ticket in jersey last Monday night.. the cop was in the fucking dark.. i slammed on the breaks, i was originally cruising like 80-90 and he said that i was doing 70 how ever he let me go cuz i was nervous as shit (not another ticket!).

In jersey / LI / brooklyn, it works. It picks up those laser / radars that aren't being observed and other lil things that are local in city and neighbor hoods.. (don't wanna get in detail, if u care to know jus ask)

The other decent prevention is spraying ur license plate. It is their priority to lock it on ur plate because it reflects off light.. So if your plate doesn't reflect

I think they have sprays and such on ebay for it. I think its only like 15bux too.


***even if the dector goes off when you see nothing, its always best to be safe than sorry **** their have been times i have been in a middle of a race with others but had to slow down cuz it went offf.. after passing and observing that no cop was in sight, i get a lil upset but... then i say to myself.. hey what if there really was one

Our meets will be better. Guaranteed. Whomever decides to throw a meet, including myself, must have everything organized for the benefit of everyone. I assume we will have one within the next two months for sure! 20+car meets are always fun.. as far as doing runs... we can't OD and having a line of bimmers is possible... just can't speed and try to loose anyone.

Oh man i trying to put something together for june 3 to bear mountain. And aslo i didn't want it to be that everyone got on the highway and try to race either, because it just makes it that much easier for the troopers to single someone out. I wanted a uniform drive up or everyone just being together so no tickets could occur for no reason. But june 3 dosen't look like it's going to happen either so whateva plans come about going forward count me in.


I ran into a audi meet yesterday on the southern state. boy they had the uniform shit in effect strong Wow 25-30 cars -------------------------single line formation. And yes cops are using a new laser that radar don't pickup but only the State troopers have 3/4 mile pickup Be careful...

BTW i didn't mean that the previous meets weren't organized at all. Just to clear that up. Sometimes i say things and then realize i have be more specific because it can go either way lol. My only complains from previous meets were that I wanted mooooreee e90's even e92's!

If this is true, i am not doubting you, i want documentation on this only because from my experience the new highway cop cars srt-8 chargers, have yet to give off a signal that i haven't picked up, UNLESS,they use multi band detection rather than single bad. I always pick up either "Ka" or" K" bands when they are around.

Yeah, let's try to get a bunch of E9xs together and cruise to Bear Mountain. Cruising meaning 75mph or less. That way it'll be uniform and everybody will follow one another. I use to belong to a Maxima forum and when we had our meets, it was all uniform. No one was racing, just cruising from Point A to Point B.

Count me in, my car should dock this Friday (I'm on the Toledo) and hopefully, I get by car by the end of next week. Maybe, I'll be the first Babera Red E90 to post pics on this forum. lol!
