I called Thornhill tints today and got some GB prices from Danny (Richard was away, but I got Danny to call him), see below.

Llumar ATX- (15%,30%,38%)

$220 (Cash price including the tax, and the extra felt that is needed to prevent scratches on the film).
This price is the same for both the coupes and sedans.

Sunguard Shadow - (20%,32%,35%,38%)
$220
- Same price for both sedans and coupes.

Both films are non-metallic tints. He says sunguard is a very good film as well and is pretty much the same as the suntek film. He also said that with a small GB he can get all of us done within a day.

Autolink was not open today, so I will have to call them tomorrow.

Let me know what you guys think. I have heard of Llumar film and that they have good quality film.

My buddy John (Autolinks) will be coming on and posting all his e90 and e92 pictures he's done so far!

The film he has currently is SunGuard Shadow (Non Metallic) available in (5%,20%,32%,38%,50%) for the price of $ 180.00 (Taxed In) Sedans & $ 200.00 ( Taxed In) Coupes.

All is computer cut, with Lifetime Warranty. The average time per car is about 1.5hours.

I called them today and it looks like there closed Monday and Thursday. I will call him tomorrow then.
If the quality is like Llumar ATx quality then I see no reason to not get it done at Autolinks

One thing I want to ask, does he put felt aorund the window trims to prevent scratches on the tints? The back windows for sedans do not have the felt and if there is nothing soft between the trim and tint, there is a good chance there will be multiple scratches showing up.

Good question! I havent spoken to him yet about this but when he was eating lunch i asked him so he was mumbling on top of his sandwich but i caught abit of what he was mumbling about haha! He spoke of taking apart trims of your car to put the tints in , this way to avoid any scratches and all that! Your probley better talking to him about this than me!

I've got my car done and just like you guys i was skeptical, overall i'm extremely happy with the outcome! Reason i say this is because i've had the old car e46 done at thornhill tints and i've ripped off my tints afterwards because how it was giving off such a "greyish" colour tint to my car which i did not like at all! John was there too and he can see the difference! Finally got my e90 and bought it to john and he knows how picky i am with my tints!

You can check out his big waiting room! Huge ass Plasma TV with DVD player with ps3 and all that!

But overall you can go check it out yourself, i mean Sunguard is carried around by alot of people! I'm by no means a tint master so i cant tell you how "close" to Lumar it is but I'm just helping my buddy and hopefully you guys check it out!

Unfortunately the GB is closed. Thornhill tints only wanted a GB of 4-6 people. I am meeting him on Sat and I can ask him if he can honor his price for a couple of weeks to members who are interested.
