squeaking front end, not swaybar bushings
I've got a squeaking front end since I lowered my car, it's not the struts, or swaybar end links, or swaybar bushings, I have replaced all those and the noise is still here. The squeak happens over small bumps, and is coming only from the passenger side. I'm thinking lower control arm bushings? no obvious signs of damage, but I'm not sure where to start. Anyone else have an insight?

Probably control arm bushings. However, if you lowered the car, you should get a set of adjustable swaybar links. Otherwise, your swaybar(s) are in in a loaded position, and they should not be. Hotchkiss makes a nice front and rear set for about $150.00.
M3 control arms are a nice upgrade for non awd drive cars. Make sure you do the tire rods while you are in there. |
