Yup, they are fast. Stock 300hp and 300 lb-ft. torque with large Brembos for $32k new.

I agree, the rear wing is totally obnoxious.

i must agree... the last model (non 3 grills) was gorgeous. I think EVO and STI had some real competition for eachother. With the new Cars (evo X) and the (ugly ass- new) 3 grilled sti, i think Mitsu is going to take over the rally car market for a little while. The sub's engines still run nice, but the horrible styling makes only old people attracted to it and thats frankly not the right market for rally cars

I agree too, liked the styling minus the stupid wing before they put in the "Subaru corporate smile" on the front. Now they've just ruined it, looks stupid.

They should be pretty damn fast though, I watched a vide of an STI accelerating from 20 to top speed and the speedometer just kept climbing at a rate that makes you think you are watching a video game. Let me see if I can find that video.

It looked pretty fast compared to the top speed run video from mt-330 posted in the video section, at least the speedo looked like it was going up faster.

Only a half car length?? He must be sleeping or something...that thing is super quick off the line, AWD helps. New M3 will eat it for sure but it won't be too easy to swallow.

ok about 0-100km/h. STi has clearly got an advantage due to awd

But compare the 100-250km/h of 330i and STi...I think that the outcome changes a bit..

and thats what i was noticing in general about turbo's...they seem to loose power at higher speeds...
