IMO, the LUX are only good on my car at night when I have the headlights on with the corner delete mod. However, it still doesn't look perfect since the LUX is more blue looking than the stock headlights and stand out. These are my personal opinions so don't get all offended when I dislike a product like this. If the AiB will drop in price, I'll get rid of my LUX and use those since they look more white (matches the oem headlights... I've seen them in person, side by side with my car). |

Only for a brief moment when AUTO & DRL is enabled, this is a result of the BulbCheck system giving small pulses verifying bulb integrity.

Since the OP specifically requested info on the LED kits, here is surface temp readings of the LED, HID and stock lightsources used for Angel Eyes:
Pictured are AngeliBirght (left), HID (center) and Halogen (right), things obviously change when installed in a sealed headlamp. LEDs will always run the coolest out of the three, with HID temps running the highest.

I just installed Lux 8 on my 2009 AW E90. They look good but I was expecting them to be a bit more bright though. In direct sunlight they are not that noticeable... for $225 it works well and it does look way better that the amber OEM. No flicker and no error massage so far... when I save some money I will probably go OSS.

I'm not rich or sex enough for OSS, either.
So, I got the next best thing Lux H8. Check here for pictures. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=335303&page=7 |

I've seen the AiB in person and think they're pure sex. I like how they look like the new oem headlights on the e92 LCI... never seen a LUX in person so can't comment on them

Do both of these have about the same install? Or is one more difficult than the other? Also, do both have parts sitting outside the headlamp? Can't decide which one to get lol... Thanks in advance.

The AngeliBright are very straightforward and simple to install, and all the parts sits inside the headlamp. Let me know if you'd be interested in a set

Anyone know the color temp of both the LUX and AiB?
Correct me if im wrong, but from the various photos posted, AiB tend to be more white in color, closer matching the OEM HIDs, which is the look im going for. LUX H8 seem to look more bluish. Edit: AiB = 5500K-6000K LUX H8 = 6500K
