HID / Xenon Option = Almost Non existent in NE

Why is this option so hard to find?

I've been looking at car #2 and HID's are a must.. however very few cars have them here...

makes no sense... moving here from LA, the roads are obviously shittier here so one would think theres more reason for better visibility

/rant.... the search continues..

Depends on what you're looking for. The vast majority of 328i models are either leases or off-the-lot sales, and they typically come with halogen reflectors (thanks, BMW, meanwhile Corollas come with LED headlights standard...). The vast majority of drivers don't know the difference or don't care. If you were to ask any of the BMW-driving soccer moms that make up much of BMW's target market now what kind of engine they had, most would probably say "V6."

I only had two must haves. Xenon and nav in an 07, which I got. Took some serious searching, but they do exist. Funny thing, it didn't seem like the dealers charge any more for those options. I also wanted active cruise control, but no non bmw dealer knew what it was, and the only way to know is the button on the turn stalk, or the sensor in the grill that is impossible to see in photos. I never saw one with it. Good luck!
