Abs light not working (ford focus)
The day the other half goes for an MOT the abs light doesn't come on when starting the car. Didn't think anythig of it - she says 'didn't know anything about it' (idiot!)
As a result - MOT FAIL!!!!!! now I can't figure what's wrong, not light but abs seems to be working. Anyone any idea? Taken out the PCB cleaned and replaced, no joy Checked all related fuses - no joy Run out of ideas now. Ford focus, '57 plate 1.6 manual Hopefully some of you clever folks will be able to help. I have a feeling I won't be spending any money on the BMW this month! Cheers 'V' |

Ok cool, thanks for the info guys.
Would a dodgy sensor not make the dash light come on???? Mine won't light up at all (I had a spirited play last night trying to make the dam thing slide to see if I could get the light to flash) No codes so far, going to get a full diagnostic done Monday. Got an who works with PCB's so he's gonna check the board itself and see if the LED has blown (unlikely!) worth a try tho |

First MOT in your ownership ?
ABS light should come on with ignition and go out within 10 seconds. If a fault is detected then it will come back on. Check the ABS fuse. If it's missing suspect foul play (and an ABS problem that you need to fix). If the fuse is just blown replace it and cross your fingers... |
