Vishnu pwm meth kit help!

The issue I am having is I have the ER intercooler with the ER upper intercooler piping and the Vishnu charge pipe doesn't seem to work the the piping. The piping seams like its to long and when I try install the charge pipe it's is super tight against my meth pump. Any one have a solution to this? I'm thinking I could cut the bottom of the ER piping to shorten it but just wondering if anyone has run into this problem

Please help. Thanks

I have the stock upper pipe running to mine and I do remember it being a little difficult to get it situated.

Can you give us a picture as to what exactly is the problem? May help us help you better.

I could get a picture but not probably until next weekend. The piping I have has a mandrel bend that actually comes around the intake piping where the coupler from the charge pipe should go. When I dry fit the charge pipe with no coupler the cp and the ic pipe are probably only about and inch apart

I have an ETS 5" intercooler and the charge pipe for the PWM kit does sit right against the FAV. This does not hinder the system at all. Its a very tight in there. Dont worry about the rubber section of the charge pipe it wont wear through.

The length of the ER intercooler lower pipe should be the same length as the stock lower intercooler pipe. (same goes for ETS intercoolers too).

Therefore the replacement of the Upper Er Pipe should be the same size as the vishnu charge pipe. The only difference may be if you have a 2007-2008 ER pipe, that utilizes the stock rubber elbow. Then you may need to remove your stock rubber elbow. Otherwise the long version ER CP (2009+) would not utilize the stock rubber elbow.

The stock rubber elbow is between the upper and lower post intercooler piping piping.

Historically its been a super tight fit. You just need to get your hands dirty.

Unless something is different about your setup drastically (and i dont see why), everything should fit.

The er pipe is too long. Your Vishnu pipe has the "elbow" piece that is essentially part of your er intercooler piping. Try to get your hand on the er shorter piping. It is a tough install with stock...with that longer pipe, I'm gonna say It's impossible.

That's kind of what I thought. I do have the stock pipe maybe I will have to use that

I have the vishnu charge pipe and the ER fmic with the ER "up" pipe (connects intercooler cold side to the Vishnu charge pipe). Vishnu supplies a rubber elbow coupler that has a 4 inch opening and then tapers down to 3 inch I think. This elbow goes between the charge pipe and the "up" pipe. I had to take about an inch of length off the 4 inch side to make it all fit. But it does work with the ER cold side piping.

You have got the same pipe as I do? ( talking length wise)

So figured out a solution and my solution was to not use the Vishnu rubber elbow and instead bought a straight reducer from 3.25 to 2.5 and seems to fit. Haven't been able to test drive yet to see if it will blow off or not. Guess we will see what happens when snow melts
